Rajesh Prasad is a percussionist in the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra and the Assistant Principal Percussionist of the North Carolina Symphony. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Rajesh has previously held a percussion fellowship with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida, in addition to a percussion position with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. He has performed with many orchestras in the United States, including the Chicago Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, and the Columbus Symphony.

Rajesh earned his Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University, and a Master of Music as well as a Professional Studies Certificate from the Manhattan School of Music. His teachers have included Michael Burritt, Christopher Lamb, Duncan Patton, James Ross, and She-e Wu. Rajesh has spent summers performing in music festival orchestras such as the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Verbier, Switzerland, the Spoleto Festival Orchestra in Charleston, South Carolina, the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, and spent 5 summers as the principal percussionist of the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra in Breckenridge, Colorado.


Matthew Ryan Kilgore is a percussionist, arranger, clinician, and adjudicator who is currently Visiting Professor of Percussion at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.  With a diverse percussive background he specializes in keyboard percussion, chamber music, steel band and the marching arts.  Matthew Ryan Kilgore can be heard on University of North Texas’s Percussion Ensemble CD Marimba Heritage where he is featured on Alejandro Vinao’s Estudios de Frontera, as well as an upcoming release of the complete Cello Suites by J.S. Bach.
