SummerFEST: A Classical Evening

ProMusica returns to the beautiful grounds of Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens for an evening of classical gems. Principal cellist Marc Moskovitz performs the shimmering “River Cam” by Grammy winning American composer Eric Whitacre and Haydn’s beloved C Major Cello Concerto. Led by Music Director David Danzmayr, the program concludes with Mozart’s lively “Linz” Symphony.”

WHITACRE – River Cam for Solo Cello and Strings
HAYDN – Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major
MOZART – Symphony No. 36 “Linz”

Gates will open at 6:00 PM. Program duration is approximately 1 hour with no intermission.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Concerts at Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are FREE and open to all ages. Bring the whole family and join us one hour before each concert for music and garden inspired children’s activities on the Wolfe Terrace (behind the stage). 

Guests may bring their own food and drink, however no outside alcohol is permitted. A full bar will be available for purchase on site.

 

VIP TICKETS:

Purchase VIP tickets to enhance your concert experience! Includes reserved seating in the VIP section, table, chairs, linen, and an individual gourmet charcuterie box with dessert for each guest. VIP tickets must be purchased on one order to sit together. All VIP ticket reservations must be made by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 4.

Upon arrival, please check in at the ProMusica table near the main concert stage. All VIP orders are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a different concert date. If the event is cancelled due to weather, orders will still be available for pick-up at the park. Menu subject to change.
