ProMusica Chamber Orchestra kicks off new season with “The Seven Deadly Sins”

“ProMusica Chamber Orchestra is entering its 46th season and celebrating with an opening weekend, bringing with it special guests and a night of music that will captivate listeners with a program that offers alluring contrast — satirical yet elegant, twinkling and beautiful while exploring darker themes, an encounter between the contemporary and classical.
Performed by special musical guests Storm Large, a multitalented musician, playwright and co-vocalist of the band Pink Martini and Hudson Shad, a vocal quartet group, ProMusica is presenting “The Seven Deadly Sins,” a “chanté ballet” or “sung ballet,” by Kurt Weill that tells the story of a young woman’s split personality as she grapples with questions of morality.”
