Host Paul Rissmann presents this innovative program exploring classical music in a fun and fresh format. Through images, sound bites and interviews with our musicians, NAKED CLASSICS deconstructs some of the greatest works in the orchestral repertoire, uncovering secrets in the score, and exploring the composer’s life and times. At the end, you will be treated to a full performance of the works.

Join us as we strip down an iconic chamber piece and uncover its deepest meaning. Together with host Paul Rissmann, we’ll deconstruct Schubert’s Death and the Maiden, a deeply dramatic and moving work that was written when the composer himself was in the shadows of death. Then, you’ll be treated to a full orchestral performance of the piece.
