Patrick Bilanchone, a native of Jacksonville Florida, is a full-time member of the Jacksonville Symphony. He performs on a double bass made by Carlo Carletti of Pieve di Cento Italy, circa 1910. Beginning his studies of the double bass in the public school string programs, he furthered his education studying with Anthony Knight of the Cleveland Orchestra and Stuart Sankey of Indiana University. Patrick spends his summers performing at the Peninsula Music Festival, located at a summer vacation destination in Wisconsin, as well as at the Grand Teton Music Festival in the beautiful Jackson Hole region of Wyoming. This is his first season with ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
