Join ProMusica for our Summer Music Series! Pack a picnic, grab your lawn chairs, and bring the whole family. Concerts are FREE, and all ages are welcome!

The heartfelt Lyric for Strings by George Walker, the first African American to have won the Pulitzer Prize in music, opens this summer evening program. Music Director David Danzmayr leads the orchestra featuring two of Mozart’s beloved works — the virtuosic Bassoon Concerto, performed by ProMusica bassoonist Rachael Young — and his famous Great G Minor Symphony.

Program duration is approximately 1 hour with no intermission.


ALUM CREEK PARK AMPHITHEATER (8/8)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Entrance to the venue will open at 5:30 PM. Seating is general admission. We encourage you to bring your own portable seating, blankets, or lawn chairs.

Guests may bring their own food and drink, however no alcohol is permitted. Please help us keep the park clean by disposing of any litter at the end of the evening.


FRANKLIN PARK CONSERVATORY & BOTANICAL GARDENS (8/11)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Gates will open at 6:00 PM. Seating is general admission. We encourage you to bring your own portable seating, blankets, or lawn chairs. A full bar will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Join us one hour before each concert for music and garden inspired children’s activities on the Wolfe Terrace (behind the stage).

VIP SEATING:
Enhance your Summer Music Series experience! Purchase a catered VIP table which includes reserved premium concert seating, chairs, and linens. Enjoy a shared charcuterie platter of assorted artisanal meats and cheeses, gourmet crackers and breads, seasonal fruits and veggies, and mini pinwheel sandwiches. Additionally, satisfy your sweet tooth with assorted mini desserts for the table.* VIP seating must be purchased on one order to sit together. All VIP reservations must be made by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1.

Upon arrival, please check in at the ProMusica table near the main concert stage. All VIP orders are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a different concert date. If the event is cancelled due to weather, orders will still be available for pick-up at the park. Menu subject to change.
