Cara Mangini – chef, restaurant owner and author
ProMusica’s Sustaining Board presents the 25th Culinary Capers, welcoming Columbus’ own Cara Mangini who will demonstrate a menu with modern and extraordinarily delicious vegetables at the center of the plate. Her James Beard Award-nominated cookbook, The Vegetable Butcher – How to Select, Prep, Slice, Dice and Masterfully Cook Vegetables from Artichokes to Zucchini, has a multitude of recipes for flavorful, fulfilling and healthy meals. Guests go home with a signed cookbook. The traditions of the Ohio Artisans Marketplace, centerpiece sales, and the Pick-a-Prize raffle will continue along with a return to one of the early Culinary Capers traditions – the autographed wooden spoons silent auction.
