Acclaimed singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and GRAMMY award winner Rhiannon Giddens joins ProMusica for this special one-night-only event! Giddens, recipient of the MacArthur “Genius” Grant and artistic director of Silkroad Ensemble, is revitalizing decades of American roots music with invigorating style.
The Soirée begins with a pre-concert party in the historic ballroom of The Westin Hotel. Enjoy cocktails, decadent hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and mix and mingle with friends and ProMusica musicians. Head to the Southern Theatre for a collaborative concert bridging a shared history of musical traditions and stories from around the world.
Proceeds for the Soirée will support the orchestra’s artistic and outreach programs.
