What is NAKED CLASSICS?

ProMusica’s NAKED CLASSICS is our new concert series that explores classical music in a fresh, and completely accessible format! Our host and presenter, the renowned Paul Rissmann with the help of Music Director David Danzmayr and our musicians, will take a classical masterwork and strip down the piece, offering audiences a highly approachable, yet sophisticated concert experience.

In the first half of the program, Rissmann investigates the construction of a single masterwork, using graphics, excerpts, lighting, interviews, and solos to reveal fascinating aspects of the composer’s life and times. In the second half of the concert, ProMusica will perform the piece in its entirety, providing audiences a new perspective of the masterwork.

NAKED CLASSICS performances are for anyone and everyone! From the newcomer who wants to dip their toes into the world of classical music, to the seasoned aficionado seeking a deeper appreciation –– these concerts will entertain and enlighten. Performance will be approximately 90 minutes.

Tickets are $25, general admission.
